About Atrin

Born in Iran and raised in Canada, Atrin is a multidisciplinary performer whose work bridges acting, athletics, and contemporary circus. From a young age, he developed a deep passion for storytelling and performance through film, movement, and creative expression. What began as creating performances and costumes for family and friends evolved into a dedicated pursuit of the performing arts.

Atrin began pursuing acting professionally in his early twenties while simultaneously building a high-level athletic career. He holds a degree in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia and has trained in competitive men’s artistic gymnastics for over seven years, specializing in rings at the national level. His athletic background has shaped his disciplined approach to performance and allows him to perform his own stunts with a strong emphasis on body control, strength, and movement quality.

In recent years, Atrin has expanded his artistic practice into contemporary circus, specializing in aerial straps. Combining elite gymnastics technique with emotional expression and theatricality, his work explores storytelling through movement, blending power, vulnerability, and physical artistry. Alongside his performance career, he continues to share his knowledge of movement and acrobatics through coaching and mentorship within the circus community.

Driven by curiosity and continuous growth, Atrin approaches his craft holistically, constantly developing new skills across acting, circus, and athletic performance. His work is rooted in discipline, creativity, and a desire to create authentic human connection through movement and storytelling.
